Six Flags over Georgia

On a day when it was incredibly hot and humid, we decided to go to an amusement park where we would have to walk around in the sun, stand in lines for rides, and sweat like hogs ready a Thanksgiving feast. Nonetheless, NyCee got to enjoy her first amusement park ride.

Taliyah rode one child's ride and the boredom showed on her face.

She was able to ride Monster Plantation, but

too short for Superman and all the other exciting roller coasters.

Recovering quickly from her disappointment, she a Lewis enjoyed the bummer cars.

After perspiring to the point of near exhaustion, we headed over to the water park to cool off.

To adjust to the water, she went down a "baby" slide as she called it.

That "baby" slide created quite the splash at the end.

She then stood under a water fall that she said, "Was really, really, cold."
Overall, we had a very good day. I sent my father a text message which read, "Being at Six Flags on a day when it is 98 degrees and 85% humidity makes a sister glad that she knows Jesus." It was hot! We were sweating before we even got situated to ride the trolley to the park. Good thing I packed plenty of Gatorade to keep us hydrated.
