You know you are extremely ghetto when you use a pair of pliers to change the settings on the washing machine--
for six months instead of simply replacing the knob which is in your possession.

We often suffer, but we are never crushed. Even when we don't know what to do, we never give up. In times of trouble, God is with us, and when we are knocked down, we get up again. (2 Cor 4:8-9 CEV)

Reminds me of when I was little. We used pliers to change the channel on our TV...you know, when there only were 12 channels, and maybe a few under the U station if you could get it!
Undomestic--
You had 12 channels? In Michigan, we had 5. They were 2, 4, 7 20, & 50. If you didn't have rabbit ears--you couldn't get 20 & 50. My how times have changed!
