Early Riser

At 630am, I felt NyCee attempting to crawl out of the bed. She did not go back to sleep. Normally, she gets up around 700 or 730am. This really wouldn't have been that bad but I didn't go to bed until 2:00a. I hope that her patterns are not changing especially with the new baby coming in a few months. Both of them are required to sleep through the night as I will not have it any other way.

Additionally, I am so far behind on my school work this week that I need every minute of quiet time to complete my assignments.

Children, especially young ones, have a weird way of knowing when things are not normal, or maybe I should say that they can feel when something is different or that something has changed or is changing. If she is trying to change the routine it may be because she feels some change in you. If you don't want her to get up that early, try to find something to do with her in bed that will keep her in bed a little longer, such as, hold her close to you and sing a song, or hum, (if you don't want to sing) as long as it's something soothing. But if she doesn't go back to sleep or wakes up soon after, get up and start her day, because at that point the day is no longer yours, it's hers! If you can, stop her from sleeping in the same bed as you ASAP! Otherwise you're going to have two little babies in the bed with you!

Love you much,
Auntie Nita

Well, I don't understand, can't you just sit Taylor down and explain to her that it is REQUIRED of her to sleep through the night? I'm sure if you just explain it to her nicely she'll be happy to change for the best.:-) Sometimes you are just too funny for me! lol!
