Either way, he will be called Ty or Tyler.

Food for thought. When he enters school, he will be called by his given name.I don't care what you'll call him at home, at school his name will be shortened by his friends to Freddie, Fredster, or some such idiom, and we all know who else will call him Little Fred, so choose wisely.
