This evening, my dad and several colleagues, were recognized as employees of the year from various schools within the district for their outstanding work and achievements at their learning institutions. This is a great honor as the students along with other faculty members were apart of the voting process.
My father serves as assistant principal at University High School in Ferndale, MI. The school works in conjunction with Lawrence Technical College to afford the students an opportunity to get a taste of the college life while in high school. He has functioned in his role for three (3) years.
