Pouting

I can only assume that due to the cold weather and the early morning hour my child suffered a temporary lapse in her ability to make sound decisions when she boldly stood in defiance and starred at me after I denied her request. As if she were saying, "I am not going to do what you said because you didn't do what I asked."

Needless to say, that lasted for all of about one minute and her ability to make rational decisions returned very quickly.
