When I saw the nurse today, (my OB is on vacation) she advised me that I was dilated 1 cm. Initially I thought, "Aw man! Only 1 centimeter." But then I thought, "Oh man! 1 centimeter! Hey that is an improvement over last week! Only 9 centimeters to go!"
And bonus: I lost 6 pounds! That rocks!
I have learned to expect positive things to occur everyday and I will take the positive however it comes.
Afterthought: It's weird walking around with my cervix open and that being normal. :~P
